Ninja Death holds claim to the following titles:
* 2nd best exit from a fight scene (1st place goes to the jump through the wall in Invincible Armor) * Best entrance to a fight scene (no contenders) * 2nd best decapitation scene (1st place goes to the decapitation-by-sled in Jack Frost) * Best self-inflicted head-trauma scene (you have to see it to believe it) * Best outfit worn by a bad guy * Most intense end battle ever *** Greatest finishing move ever conceived of by man (no exaggeration)
I won't ruin the movie by divulging plot details. I must concede that Ninja Death II is a bit slow at times, but I assure you, it's just the calm before the storm.
I don't recommend this film for dull minded people who need everything to make sense or be easy to understand. This film is for people who know how much fun the absurdity of Kung Fu can be.
This is now my second favorite kung fu movie, my first is still "Wheels on Meals" with Jackie Chan, its not quite as absurd as this one though.
Both of those films (and many others including Ninja Death 2) are available for free, legally, online with Joost. Download their player and go to the "Tokyo Pulp" channel and you can view them for free.
But I was soon cheered up by some of the best ninja fight scenes i've ever witnessed! The fight choreography in this film is absolutely top notch, fast and accurate fighting! THe head evil ninja with the twin hammers wearing the gold suit should win every award at the academy awards. His kung fu is fabulous and His acting (along with the poorest quality English dubbing i've ever heard) is hilarious! In fact everyones acting in this is hilarious. Alexander lou shows just how bad an actor he can be in nonsensical love scenes that make them very funny to watch! If you like crazy Chinese kung fu movies you'll love this, if not, the fight scenes are still worth the admission.
Essentially, this is a markedly better than average slice of chopsocky action. Its entertainment level is much better because it is more fearlessly ridiculous than most others and doesn't get bogged down with tedium like most in the genre do at some stage. Fast, frenetic and daft as a brush – that's this film.
¿Sabías que...?
- CuriosidadesThe dubbed version of this movie begins with voice-overs from an American company. At the half-way point, however, the dubbing process was transferred to a British studio, and therefore the accents become English in the later scenes of the movie.

Tiger: I'm so cold master. Can't we start a fire?
Master: No. If we made a fire the cold air would go directly into your body and kill you.
