American Nympho in London

Pornographer John T. Bone made many an interesting feature in America, including several classic soft-core sex films like "Hindsight", but this trifle seems to be just an afterthought, tagging along with the production of "The Baroness" starring Tracey Adams. It features the same cast, apparently shot on location in Germany. Presumably a third film, "International Phone Sex Girls", was also shot back-to-back at this time with the same cast.

Title is a riff on the John Landis landmark horror comedy, but unlike today's porn parodies (=ripoffs) it has nothing whatsoever to do with that Universal Pictures hit. Instead it is about an Ugly American from Philadelphia, played by Tom Byron, who inherits the chateau from his British dad, and travels to England with his friends to take charge of it.

Biggest surprise here is that star Adams has a minor role, and is styled to look shabby and disshelveled, for no reason. It's almost as if she was dragged out of her trailer after a hard day's work on "The Baroness" and forced to have a sex scene with no makeup -she is not given a character to play. As such she plays second fiddle to a British cast of femmes as well as another star from the States, Misty Regan, whose name is spelled differently in the opening vs. end credits.

The acting by the non-Americans, including German stud Rally von Essen, is flat, while Byron exaggerates his caricature of an uncouth American creep. Molly O'Brien as the naturally busty blonde maid of the manor is fetching, looking like any number of Mayfair magazine models (or Page 6 Girls from The Sun newspaper) of the period.
