This film is one of the best of its time.

This movie is a fast paced adventure through the mystical future where government seeks to find a mysterious artifact before it gets into the wrong hands. This movie is filled with riveting dialogue that adds the roller-coaster plot line. This film also makes good use of set building and film angles. These elements are clearly displayed in a very professional manner and add to the overall feel of this film. I found that the repetitive use of sets was very effective to the film and not a result of the small budget. One of the most amazing parts of the film was the CGI graphics. They take special effects to a whole new level. Overall this film deserves more credit than it gets and more people need to watch this to understand how films of the science fiction should be made.

If you want a headache, watch this movie.

This movie was just awful in every way. I don't know what other way to describe it. The dialogue was beyond terrible and I spent most of my time trying to figure out what exactly the characters were talking about. Not only was the dialogue hard to understand, but it was hard to hear as well because of the disturbingly loud music that masked most of it. But let's look past the dialogue to the story...which would be possible if there was a real story in this movie, which there really wasn't. I guess you could call it a story, but the only place that actually gave information about it was the back of the box. There are many other obvious problems with this film, but I don't need to explain anything further because hopefully by now you have decided not to watch this one. A movie that causes physical pain can get nothing but a 1 out of 10.

    One reason to watch

David Warner is in it. That's it. That's the only reason to go anywhere near this. Everything else about it would only be good under Rifftrax or MST3K.

In my reassessment process it was properly downgraded for obvious reasons!!

In my point of view the nineties was the worst period on cinema industry, mainly explained by VHS advent, due the convenience at home, just pick up a tape to watch with the whole family, it somewhat took the producers and filmmakers on duty cheapen those low-profile offerings aiming for sell it straight on video without pass on firstly on theatres and aftermaths on TV hereiafter cable TV, for finally reaches on home-video, they improvised a kind short-cut passing by briefly on TV and after few sessions only and went on the profitable niche of home-video, aside that the great priductions of course, it was the case of Final Equinox, a kind of combo of action-Sci-Fi and a slight soft porn sequence aiming for spicy the stillborn project, since the less demanding audience that couldn't have cared less for those awful propositions.

Off the bat we have the ham actor Joe Lara as pretentious hero side by side his shell-shocked wife, oddly enough aftermaths on hot performance on the bed, go figure after such mismatches, previously someone finds out at Peru an ancient alien device that would able to change the Earth landscape as we know nowadays, covering a dry land in a rain forest in the blink of an eye, then came up those stereotyped thugs with long coats fully adorned with those big iron chains and wearing those leathers black pants likewise the kitschy KISS band, it doesn't stop here whatsoever, later appears a scientist (David Warner) specialized in quantum science trying explains that such alien artifact actually is able to creating life.

Look out the preposterous when the bad guy Torman (Martin Kove) trying selling it by money if the looney scientist assures him that if it caught at wrong hands any enough money is no longer useful in such newest environment, what a crap, at least as cited above some sexy sequences softens the unavoidable damages on the brain's audience for good, I'd re-watched it for my reassessment process of my early pictures, which it was properly downgraded for obvious reasons.

    Thanks for reading.
