Despite having three versions, the movie has never been officially released on DVD. There's a Spanish version, an Italian version, and an English version of the movie with Greek subtitles. All versions are dubbed and do not feature Boyd's or Mell's real voice.
Almost the entire lesbian subplot and all the scenes where the two main female characters are touching or conversing in a romantic way were removed from the movie in order to play in certain countries. The best copy of the movie that's available now has pristine quality save for these cut scenes which had to be added from a possibly Turkish print of the movie which is of poor quality and has hardcoded subtitles.
The movie used the success of the 1973 heist film El golpe (1973) to promote itself, especially in English-speaking countries, since both movies are about a group of swindlers pulling a long con. However, besides the basic premise there is nothing similar between the movies whatsoever.
