Adams and the Metropolitan squad investigate and discover that Dogelly's threats might be close to home as his wife Margaret, the plays leading actors, and Dogelly's manager all have reason to want him dead.

Kathy swears it isn't hers, and Vinnie says Kathy sold it to him. The incident sets the Metropolitan squad on a trail leading to Louis Morley.
