Promenade

Promenade tells the story of Tom (Mark Stanley), a survivor of the Bastille Day attack of 2016. Tom is haunted by the loss of his partner Grace (Rochenda Sandall), during the attack. Returning to Nice on Bastille Day some years later, Tom hires Adele (Selma Brook), to try to recreate their last day together. This moving short film is beautifully directed by BAFTA Award winning actor, David Elliot (Kajaki, Bulletproof), where he taps into human emotions with aplomb. Not only of the emotions of the story, evidenced by the actors delivery, but ultimately the emotions of the viewer. You are inevitably drawn into Tom's world, his love for Grace, and the pain of his loss are all succinctly portrayed.
