The final collaboration between Joseph Vrenick and Cinematographer Dawn Moore. The two had a falling out in February of 2020.
The main characters are all named after songs by The Ramones. Sheena (Sheena is a Punk Rocker), Ramona (Ramona) Jackie and Judy (Judy's a Punk, Return of Jackie and Judy). The only character not named after a song by The Ramones is Mr. Eaglebauer. He is a reference to Clint Howard's character in Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979).
The movie was originally aimed to be filmed in October 2018 but was pushed back to March 2019 due to delays on the script, and Joseph Vrenick had a prior commitment to both school work and a co-directing gig with Tanner Craft on Community Cop. He would, however, drop out of co-directing Community Cop due to issues with his grades.

The third collaboration between Aubrie Barnett and Joseph Vrenick. They had previously worked together on Sex Demon and Blood Oaks.
