It did not work
I expected a great film but, instead, a I had a metalinguistic exercise by fans of famous Nelson Rodrigues play. So great casting and quite interesting black and white cinematography, but just a boring outcome. After more than 40 minutes of actors around the table pretending to discuss and practice the text, when it is effectively portrayed as cinema there is no more atmosphere to believe. Therefore, there is no strength in the adaptation of what is probably the best - and rightest - work by Nelson Rodrigues. Unfortunately, as I like the debuting director's career as actor.
