Hostages is the new Hindi series by hotstar specials. The starcast, I must say, is really good. The story starts very well in the beginning and as it moves through couple of episodes makes you stick to it. But when it just goes further ahead and starts unveiling the background, it starts fading away. The end is just abrupt and doesn't make any sense.

Sasti copy of money heist. Season 2 is blunder. The strong acting of Ronit Roy could not save the series.

This series is also a remake just like the other series on Hotstar. The series is remake of Israeli series which goes by the same name. IDK what they think before producing such shows as they are just remakes and spoils the originals. Stop remaking and bring something new and fresh.

Although the plot is entertaining, the flow is too slow and as usual contains some of the extra mirch masala of Bollywood.

I have watched both seasons, and I have to say, S1 was THRILLING! Having an innocent mother pushed into a do or die puzzle. But the show lost focus in S2. It had a bad storyline in front of S1.

Ronit Roy and Tisca chopra both have given outstanding performance in this series.

Great storyline but it seemed incomplete. The individual moments never connected with each other and I felt the execution could have been made better. Apart from that, great acting by Tisca Chopra. One time watch.

I don't know why everyone is saying that the series was predictable. It is not so. If you have not watched the Israeli hostages then you will definitely love this series.

The cast has done a fabulous job in the whole series. Specially Tisca Chopra's acting has been worth praising. The story though, is highly predictable which makes it quite boring since you can predict what's going to happen next. Nevertheless, it's a good series to watch for timepass.

Ronit Roy always a Good Actor. His performance was excellent. dr.Mira also doing great performance. but should be more better

Instead the makers should have posted a message saying that watch money heist...It's recycled trash....

Many unanswered questions even after watching season 2 , I think there may be another season of it .

Season 2 is kind of stretched .

6 stars for Acting, camera work and editing. Direction and STORY is full of crap. IMHO there is nothing good other than Ronit Roy and Tisca Chopra. Claps to lead actors and Slaps to director/s and story writer.

The story is made quite longer and it's predictable it takes round and round unnecessary turns.

Great series. Was never bored for one second.kudos to Ronit Roy for the acting.

SEASON 2 REVIEW: The show is binge-worthy, it has an engaging plot with some stellar performances. Despite the slow screenplay, the show manages to keep the viewers hooked. Ronit Roy once again perfectly delivered an impressive performance and done full justice to his character. Divya Dutta steals the show and done a commendable job.

Shweta Basu Prasad is a surprise package. In her limited screen time, she has given an impactful performance. Amit Sial, Mohan Kapur, Dalip Tahil, Faezeh Jalali, and Kanwaljit Singh lend effective support to the show. Dino Morea, Shibani Dandekar, Aashim Gulati and all the other supporting casts were average in their parts.

The series could have been cut down to 10 episodes, the more crisp editing could've made this series more interesting. The background score is good and the cinematography is done quite well.

If actors like Ronit Roy and Tisca Chopra are working for a project you have high hopes with it. Hostages wasn't able to do the justice when it comes to it's screenplay and direction. The basic plot of the show is really good but the execution of the same is really pathetic. All the episodes went with the same pace with the same thing was happening over and over again. Certain turning points were there but most of them were predictable because of the poor screenplay. Ronit Roy and Tisca Chopra were on point with their acting skills but this show proves to be a sheer waste of talent. If anyone doesn't have anything to do or to watch go for Hostages.

Hostage is an enchanting, the edge of the seat thriller web series.Ronit roy, Tisca chopra, Divya Dutta and Shweta basu prasad were the ones i was waiting anxiously to watch out for in the complete web series as they bestowed the wonderful acting skills along with the justified expressions( Tisca looked glamourous too 😍). The compassionate and humble expressions of Ronit Roy in the stressful situations were applaudable and perfectly matched his personality as the role of top cop. Divya Dutta even in short role had an impressive influence with her attitude of "i am best at acting whatever role comes my way " and confidence oozing out from on the spot dialogue deliveries!! . But the teamwork makes the things possible, so good performances of other actors can not be negated and were also appreciative!! Soooo, a big Thumbs up 👍👍👍

The first season of "HOSTAGES" was very good with competent acting by everyone,especially Ronit Roy and Tisca Chopra. The 2nd season although not as good as the first one,was still above average.This was because the 1st season had a better script and better performances. In the season only Ronit was very good.The rest were average to above average.
