A lovely, heartwarming film - absolutely amazing and a joy to watch - many times over ! The film takes you on a real roller-coaster of emotions with twists and turns along the route. A really interesting subject matter which is covered in such an interesting and sensitive way. Very impressed with the lead characters and how quickly you become immersed in their stories. A gorgeous film telling a lovely story underpinned with an amazing musical score. The variety of songs reflect the range of emotions of the lead characters and many of them will stick in your head 😁. A little gem of a film which flies by as you watch it.

A beautifully rendered piece of cinematic lushness- sweet, warm, moving, poignant, uplifting. One of the best films I have seen in ages- the fact that it was made on 1 million of the budget of Snow White makes it even more of a sensational achievement. Thoroughly recommended.. Best watched at home with all the family. With a large box of tissues. A special mention for the lovely music and choreography. And some terrific performances from the cast. Very natural, very affecting. And full marked the cinematography for turning Southport into a place of romance, mystery, wonder, poignancy and love.

Perfectly Frank is the kind of film that wraps around your heart like a warm coat on a windy Southport morning. Set in the faded but fondly remembered glamour of the Southport seafront, it tells the story of Frank, a quiet, musically gifted young man who cares for his ailing grandfather - a beautifully tender relationship that anchors the film with genuine emotional weight.

Enter loud, chaotic, and completely irresistible: a foul-mouthed but lovable Scouser who barges into Frank's life like a karaoke ballad at last orders. Their unlikely friendship - and eventual romance - gives the story its spark, its swagger, and a whole lot of laughs.

This is such a quality shoestring film that you can tell the cast and crew really cared for. I'm not normally one for musicals but this one captured me very much and the attention to detail was brilliant from start to finish.

I appreciated the showcasing of Southport in a lovingly, nostalgic ode sort of way which isn't usually reflected on screen and thought the musical number was spectacular. Thought the set design was fantastic and the costume design too.

One thing I have to bring up is the cast, their chemistry and the amount of passion they brought to the project really elevated this for me.

In it's full context this def deserves 9/10 stars.

There are so many positive aspects to this film. It is a thought provoking story with a twist. Depicting the heartwarming relationship between Frank and his Grandad. The beautiful way the story sees Frank escaping his anxiety into a world of colourful musicals. Frank & Lily, two very different people with their own vulnerabilities have a fast growing respect and love for each other. The actors play their roles full of emotion and sensitivity to their characters. This film takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, from sadness, into a world full of happiness, colour, dance, with a beautiful musical score. The songs compliment the story incredibly well and I can guarantee play around in your head for a good while after. Beautiful vocals and dancing with a nostalgic flare. A film full of heart, soul and lots of love. Definitely worth a watch.
