Toy Boy

Mostly good series but with a very stupid and disappointing ending. Can be at least 3 episodes shorter. it leaves a number of things unanswered. I hope people don't want to make 13 new episodes about that.

This is addictive viewing of a terrible series. Plotting is clumsy, the script is fine for a 1st year graduate of film studies, and the wooden acting so prevalent , it starts to look like an ikea store! Assumptions are made, jumped to and quickly forgotten as our unconvincing hero, wrongly accused of a murder he didn't commit 7 years ago races around with his pretty lawyer ( really! ) as they play detectives to try and clear his name,The sub plots become increasingly annoying ( female empowerment, drugs , Bolivians, infidelity, corruption, filial loyalty, mental health, parenting etc ) as the series drags itself to its inevitable conclusion,. And yet you feel compelled to watch until the end like a horrible accident you're about to witness. Rubbish but perfect to turn off your brain.to Marbella looks pretty though !

First, the ending is the setup for season 2. Get it? If viewers found it so bad that they had to trash it, why did the finish watching it? I wanted to rate this 10 stars because I enjoyed it so much, but truth be told it had it's flaws, which I found easy enough to over look. After all, I watch videos to be entertained. If they don't do that I simply "stop watching". There's lots of male eye candy, murder, mystery and suspense, dysfunctional family feuding and a love story or two. The quality isn't great but good enough to get by. One thing to remember, this is a "Spanish" production and should not be judged my American standards. Looking forward to Season 2.

Review: Where should I begin? I mean, the premise of this one is quite good. Really. Unfortunately, that is where most of the show's greatness ends. The series just did not manage to execute the story well. The characters aren't very likable and often irritated me. Their emotions do not have a lot of depth and it was difficult for me to feel very invested in their lives. Still, I tried. And I succeeded a little when it came to Andrea's storyline, but the main characters left me cold. I just didn't really care. So add to this the incredibly slow pacing, and you have me bored to tears. Seriously, this was a very long series and it felt dragged out. I just wanted to get it over with. All the twists and turns got old after a while, and it didn't excite or intrigue me in the least.

Top three characters: 1) Macarena Medina de Solís, 2) Andrea Norman Medina and 3) Hugo Beltrán González.

Least favourite character: Everyone else.

Started good. But after episode 8 it became stupid and too long. I mean: how many times can a guy get accused and how many times can police screw up???
