Murder Bury Win

The film centers on three friends (read: geeks) who get the chance of a lifetime when they are sired away to the home of a secluded game developer. Hijinks ensue when the developer wants to produce/ own the trio's game board but also compromise its original integrity.

To avoid spoilers, I won't go any farther into the plot than that.

But overall this film is interesting because it covers a lot of the ins/outs of developing board games, which is something I never really thought about before. It also offers the best of the dark-comedy genre between the personality of the three characters and how the "murder" unfolds. Sometimes your greatest dream can be your worst nightmare.

Excellent cinematography, good acting, and I wish maybe that the film wasn't so confined to only three locations or so, but it's a small budget film (so that's OK). It's worth watching, loved the concept.

This film is about three friends who invent a murder themed board game and then after an accidental death, try and use the game to cover it up.

The film is really slow to get going and then doesn't seem to go anywhere. The film also doesn't seem to know if it wants to be funny, serious, gory or what.

I have up half way through and that was quite a challenge.

Enjoyable and relatable. Seem like something that could happen. The characters were likable. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought the casting was really good, the character of VV Stubbs who is particularly well done. I recommend it to anyone looking for a lighthearted comedy.

Best friends, Chris, Adam, and Barrett, have created their board game Murder Bury Win. Their crowdfunding is going nowhere. Prolific game designer Victor Von Stubbs invites them to an isolated cabin. He offers to buy the game off their hands but they can't acknowledge creating it.

They need to bump up the money. $3k is not big enough as a cinematic lure. It needs to be a deal with the devil. Adam needs to be a wild crazy punk instead of a white preppy guy. I do like the descend into chaos but it needs a little more setup. If Victor's death is more messy, it would explain the need for a cover up. I love this idea but it needs to be developed more carefully.

Loved this and would recommend to my friends and family.
