Yes, it sucks that Roseanne is absent, but I've always enjoyed the supporting cast. I think that they're holding their own pretty well in this series. It's funny to me and it doesn't feel much different than the original series, other than the obvious being that Rosie isn't there. Great acting here and I can appreciate it.

It's not even funny anymore. I don't even live in America and yet I can see that when they fired Roseanne it's just lost it's heart of the show. First of all I just watched the whole seasons of original Roseanne series last week. And I actually found the first 4-5 seasons of roseanne was good but I did find the last few seasons of the show just not that good or funny and season 10 (the reboot one) kinda cringy but that's understandable cause I feel like the casts were trying to find their chemistry again after decades haven't been working together. Whatever your opinion is about Roseanne I think this show just went downhill without her and even though Metcalf and John Goodman tried so hard to elevate the show sadly it's just not enough. It evolves now around the Sara Gilbert character that is so no interesting at all and she's not that good of a comedians and she just brings down the show everytime she's in the scene. She's just not funny! And she's just a bummer like everytime she's in the scene it's like she brings the moods down. I feel like the reason why ABC still keeping it even though it's gained negative reviews from everywhere and even though the ratings is shot, the President I feel like have a personal vendetta with Roseanne and therefore she's keeping the show just to stick it to Roseanne. It's like "hey look we fired you from a show that you created with characters that you also created and we still gonna keep on making this atrocity of a show just to stick it to you Roseanne!"

This show has lost it's sense of humor. Very depressing.

The first few episodes of this season were kind of a downer and only sorta funny but after that it slowly got some of the biting humor back that the original series had. Once they got away from Roseann's death and back to daily life things, the show started getting better. I'm glad I stuck with it and gave it a chance.

I loved it when it first came out. I looked forward to every episode. The show just doesn't work without the main star. It's not that the show is awful it's not, but it's not good either. I've certainly seen worse television, but I don't crave mediocre entertainment. I watch comedies to laugh and the laughs are few and far between. I get that some people are upset about what Rosanne said or dont like her personality, but she's funny and the show doesn't have the same magic without her. I really hoped for the other cast members that it'd be a success without Roseanne. I was hoping that I'd still be able to enjoy watching it and would be anxiously awaiting each weeks episode. Sadly I've been disappointed by what I've seen. The cast and writers tried to save the show, but it just hasn't worked. I doubt 'The Conners' will last past one season. It's a darn shame because when 'Roseanne' was brought back it was amazing.
