The bitter poetry of story is the main virtue of this minimalist film about love, vocation, Iutland , rural life and help, about price of freedom and duty. The acting is admirable, the atmosphere reminding the delicate embroideries , the slow action a great good point and the fine simplicity one of motifs for admire it . Short, a special film.

I am taking care of my dementia mother away from my wife and son. I am quite happy after all these years of separate life and now able to help her daily life. At the same time, I have sleepless night thinking about my job, wife and son, financial capability and so on. I have a few friends who give me encouragement, understanding, sympathy which I truly appreciate. But deep in my mind, No one could even know what is going on and how I am feeling everyday. Then I watched this movie and realized if not everyone but many people feels exactly the same with me. This art of work does not give superficial comfort nor dramatic ending. That is what our life is. Anyone who is living one part of family can find himself/herself here. Great movie.
