Intrusión

Movie lacked so much, it had potential but it seemed to disappoint. I don't get why it's the same content over and over again.. no different than other movies in same category. Not much explainations throughout movie, it was bogus!!

Actually Intrusion is ranked third on Netflix. So me and my wife tried to watch it. The critics here are so negative but you have to make your own opinion. Then we saw the thriller and we thought it must not be so bad as written in the reviews.

Finally we spent surprisingly an entertaining evening. It's a solid psycho thriller.

The main actors did a good job. The atmosphere and the landscapes were creepy done. The story was not boring and this is why we give an average of 5.5 out 10.

Well filmed and produced, but was just so obvious from the first act, if you're like my partner and enjoy jump scares that others can see coming a mile off you might like it.

It's under 90 minutes so not bad to put on if you want something that doesn't need concentrating on before bed, or maybe after a few drinks.

This is one of those movies where people make stupid mistakes/decisions and you find yourself screaming at the TV - stab him until his dead, pick up the knife, don't drop the gun, close/lock the door, wait until he's not home, take the damned bat, hurry up!

You get the picture.

We've all been there.

Oh, and the house was ugly AF.

An entertaining, easy 90 minute watch with a bit of tension and jeopardy, and not nearly as predictable as I thought it would be from the blurb and the reviews.

The writers could have made the last 20 minutes work much harder, though. Following the 'big reveal' they could have done more interesting or unexpected things with the situation, and it felt like those final scenes should have been much more exciting in terms of both action and interaction between the characters. Instead it was kind of flat and underwhelming - and after all the slow build up seemed to be over in a flash.

All the actors did a good job and I'm surprised Freida Pinto is getting dragged for her performance, which I thought was nicely understated and fitted the character well. Overall it was a decent effort and I particularly liked the colour grade and production design, which contributed a lot to the chilly, slightly off-kilter feel.
