The story of Love Punjab revolves around a family in which husband and wife fights daily for small reasons and their son is only victim of these fights. After suffering from all these things, their son gets depression. Then a psychiatrist suggests them to go to Punjab. Eventually, grasping for a solution, his father announces they are all going to Punjab to help the child understand his heritage and his homeland. However before their arrival, the boy's relatives in Punjab transform the village with a huge 'western' makeover, while still attempting to hold on to all that makes Punjab great. After spending time in Punjab, the child begins to love it. Meanwhile the parents find themselves getting emotionally involved like they had not in a long while. They leave Punjab with a heavy heart, and head to Canada where the mother is set to be engaged to her friend. But during the ceremony she realizes her love for her husband and runs off. The parents express their love for each other, and a year later they are shown to be a happy family, with their son and a new daughter.

Great film

I love Love Punjab and am very proud of this film. I watched it a couple times and never got bored. This is a beautiful representation of my origins which is why I connect so much to it.

Excellent and teaches life lessons

Released with Ambarsariya but Love Punjab is much much better than Ambarsariya

As a Punjabi, I can tell that 70% of Punjabi youth want to go abroad after their study. So it's a very nice theme and showed absolute reality. It shows that money can't buy happiness. Family is much more important than money. Great work by Amrinder Gill and Sargun Mehta in two regular films.

Overall Awesome movie and results shows it all "THE MOST WATCHED Indian FILM IN ITS FIRST WEEK IN USA,UK, CANADA, Australia AND NEW ZEALAND"

Love Punjab is a good Punjabi movie that one should watch with family.

Love Punjab is a good Punjabi movie that one should watch with family. Best performance by Amrinder Gill, Sargun Mehta and Yograj Singh. The plot is very good. It is not like other bakwas Punjabi movies. A real life story with a strong message. Music of the movie is great, I loved the song Heerey and also "Asi zindagi gva lai, tenu pyar vi na aaya". These songs are awesome. I enjoyed it a lot, it feels proud when you watch this type of Punjabi movie and see how the Punjabi film industry is touching new heights and giving tough competition to Bollywood movies in Punjab and foreign collection like in Canada,US,Australia. Punjabi movies are more successful than Hindi movies when it comes to abroad collections.

worst movie amrinder gill it was SO boring didn't expect this from you it was trash garbage money waste it was a typical Punjabi movie learn something from diljit who gives a different movie every time ambarsaryia and ardaas also channo was way better than love Punjab I think next time you should make something different like angrej was a superb movie I think you should take a break and make an music album than next year come with one Punjabi movie the trailer was awesome but movie sucked the first half was so boring but than second half it was a little bit good music sucked acting sucked story was to simple poor direction and editing background score could've been better
