Love it. Great for family time watchalong. Plot was okay, animation is okay but not sure of the voice casts especially an indian character gopal cast by a non- indian person, culturally inappropriate. Still recommended.

Audience of this movie are generally kids based on the concept so childish but gave a few chuckles to a grown-up adult because animation has the power to do so.

One of the best animation works I have seen in a while, The Animonsta Studios first film indicates how sophisticated the action scenes can be performed and that is the reason why this film won the best animated feature film in Malaysia.

The plot is straightforward as it paves the way where we eventually see the battle of BoBoiBoy with the miscreant villain Borara.

All the characters shown here are well-developed especially I like the character Fang, reminds of Teen Titan's Raven.

About the voice over Anas Abdul Aziz did a wonderful job by playing so many characters worth an applause.

The score is something worth mentioning as music fits the scenes flawlessly.

The solitary disadvantage I saw was in dialogues, The reiteration and repetition here causes it to annoy as opposed to satire.

By and large, A new franchise to look for in case of animation.

I'd say this is a really good step in Malaysian animation industry. To watch and enjoy this movie you must have some Malaysian context or understand some of Malaysian culture and the familiarity of the common tongue else it's not for you. Those who had gave negative reviews were probably the ones who don't understand or have a clue about Malaysian culture or maybe expected too much. The dialogues are made funny and simple for kids to understand. A straight forward story line but with cool music scores. Heavy anime influence and nice action scenes. Smooth animation although more detail could be added in. A Full HD and extended version should be released some day I hope and wouldn't mind buying it. Overall it's an enjoyable movie to watch with the whole family.

When i watch it, i say wow and wow... so awesome amazing, superb movie..

As adult you might think twice to watch some animation movie. But this movie will change how you review animation movie in future. I personally feel a shame for being hypocrite in front the kid audiences for trying to restrain myself from express the joy and excitement during watching it. The story line just keep incline from the start and as if there will be no ending on the excitement that you will get from it. Pack with 'Malaysia Puchline', dramatic fighting scenes and kick at the melancholy scene. It bring back the memory how we feel to cry, to laugh even to fight for the cartoon character that we love so much during our childhood. And it is not over praise if saying this movie is better than DreamWorks Animation movie. It won't able to fight with the technology and 3D details but surely it suppress 'Kungfu Panda 3' in term of the satisfaction you get from watching a movie.

This movie is not just about Action, Comedy or Science Fiction. In fact Animation shows that we can actually live in one country with multiple races and religions. No racist, racist terms, and so on. Film is one great example of opening the eyes of the inhabitants of the earth.

Boboiboy the movie is definitely a huge step for our country's animation industry. This is obviously not just targeted for kids because the some of the dialog is mature enough for adults to laugh out loud while kids may just look at their parents and wondering what just happened to their beloved papa and mama. The flaws is forgivable due to overall strong, solidly made movie.

The characters are well developed and well written but sometimes their dialogue is..unnatural. What papazola said during the entire movie was very natural but characters like ying, yaya and even boboiboy himself sounds..cliché. But it doesn't ruin the movie, its a very minor flaw.

Like i said earlier, go watch and support this movie for being a definition of improvement in animation industry and make sure they get enough support to do another one. And another one. And another one.

I just watched Boboiboy The Movie this morning. Worth the money. Malaysian animation industry has improves a lot. Kudos to the team who made this film a reality. The final battle scene is so darn epic I felt like clapping but I would embarrassed myself if I were to do that as an adult inside a hall packed with children LOL. The scores & music matched well with the storyboard. Watching this film is like seeing Naruto, Dragon Ball, Power Rangers, Transformer and Iron Man combined. Bravo Animonsta!

On another note, I wished I didn't watched the sneak peek of this film on the TV. I would have made the whole experience much more original/raw.

I watched this movie with my two kids (1 and 4 y.o.). The quality of this animation is considered international level. People wouldn't believe that it is produced by Malaysian youths. I think that the storyline was good and packed with actions because when I was a kid, I used to like the action parts when watching superhero movies and my kids did enjoy all the action parts in this animation.

I do hope that the international version (if available) will be as good as the local one (in Malay language) in order to keep the originality of the storyline (e.g.: funny and kids friendly).

In this release, I've watched a lot of new powers and tricks by BoboiBoy and friends. I'm sure that people are expecting more new actions in the next release. I do believe that the production team can keep with this expectation in the next release. Keep up the good work!

Boboiboy the movie is a based on a kids animated series. About a young boy and his friends having super powers saving the world from aliens. For once the aliens did not land in USA (like all normal aliens seem to do) but in Malaysia.

I went in the movie thinking it was a kid movie or at most a family movie, came out pleasantly surprised. What many reviewers do not mention is that this movie is also entertaining for for anime fans and gamers. As some of the style, action sequence and super powers are heavily influence by the aforementioned (in 3D). Clearly a work of love by fans :)

We've been trying to create local animation movie since forever but it always fail. So, based on statistic, Malaysian animation industry is a bad investment, until Boboiboy. To be honest, you can't compare this with big studios like Disney and Pixar, but we are heading there. The quality is nearly up to par, the storyline is good, and the dialogue is funny. I can say that this feel good family movie is better than Wreck it Ralph in terms of storyline and it can beat any feature length animation movie which is not produced by Disney and Pixar anytime. Like, not just beat them, it's total annihilation. To make it simple, Boboiboy is a mix of power rangers and ben 10 with a hint of one piece. Trust me, you must watch it. It reminds you of silat lagenda, kluang man and usop santorian. You know, the good old days.

Truth is, I would never imagine that these kind of movie with such quality can ever be produced by a south Asian company. I mean, animation movie? It is costly, took ages to finish not to mention the tremendous need for multi supercomputer to make it happened.

But Animonsta did it!

Yes, its not Shrek. Its not Ice age. Its not Lion King nor Happy feet. I admit. I may be bias as I'm Malaysian, but hey! Give it a shot will you? Tight budget with minimum resources DOES not compromise the film quality. That's my friend - called dedication and hardwork.

Happiness and satisfaction that the film given to my 11 years old son (especially) and us as families were not a bit less than watching those great western animation movies.

The film start with style and fast action which is in our case completely wipe out our doubt that will it pass?

The rest is wonderful journey and we tend to forget that we actually watching Animonsta 1st movie!

Go watch it. I enjoy it with my family, so why cant you?

It is one of the best movies in Malaysia. Can't wait for it's sequel.

Boboiboy The Movie is the bench mark for The Malaysian Animation Industry credit to Animonsta studio for making this great movie just brilliant,this movie is something that should be proud of I can never believe that Malaysia can make this awesome animation movie. I think this movie is okay and what I like about this movie is the character especially Papa Zola so awesome.But,this movie plot is flaw there are not so many things happen the bad guy come suddenly and it quite boring and the graphics for this movie I think can be Improve some more.But this movie is okay and it's suitable for all ages definitely worth the money.
