Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon

In the Super Famicom version, if played on the Easy difficulty intended for beginners, only the first two stages are playable. After completing the second stage, they are taken to a non-animated version of one of the ending's cutscenes with text asking the players to try it on the harder difficulty setting.

In the PAL version that's only released in France, Sailor Venus according to her character profile during the demo is erroneously named as "Sailor Mathilda". Mathilda is her civilian name in the French dub.

In the Super Famicom version, the boss battles at the end of each stage all share the same music. In the Sega Mega Drive version, the boss battles at the end of each stage (including one at the end of the first act of stage 4) have their own music depending on whom the player battles against.
