I find all of this stuff very intriguing and have watched every single episode so far. I'm as skeptical as anyone else and take all of it with a grain of salt. It does appear legit and I myself as well as others are curious about our history being accurate about this subject. At the very least, I am learning allot about WW2 history and just how elusive and evasive the Germans were in their escape from Berlin during WW2.

After reading through the reviews, it appears that people are jumping to conclusions and are not giving the show a chance at all. I believe there are those who hate Hitler so bad that they don't want to believe that someone could have gotten away with what he did and lived happily every after. It's an interesting show and I will continue watching it.

Format sucks. All of the documentary and reality shows use this terrible format of 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

They build up to something then go to a commercial. After the commercial break it's a recap of what you have already seen with all the same scenes and lines building it up to what turns out to be nothing. Then another dramatic event or break through and the cycle starts over stringing you along. If they cut the crap the episode would be less than 30 minutes.

The content and story is great. Interesting and educational.

They present a believable story of how Hitler could have escaped. Lots of questions arise from what they explain in the first episode about Hitlers death and how it was reported. A Russian soldier saw a body under a sheet with blood on it and said that is Hitler.

I believe that I am better versed on the history of WWII than most. However I am amazed at the extent of the Nazi network and infrastructure this program has uncovered in South America. The so called Rat Lines in South America that Hitler's high command developed would cost 100's of millions to replicate today. So even if you accept the orthodoxy of Hitler's suicide in Berlin in 1945 this show is still very interesting and well worth watching.

Mysteries to me are always interesting, did Hitler die or escape, it seems that the information about his death was never proved 100%. If the government Knew or thought with out much doubt that he did die why were they still looking? But this makes for a great mystery research everything don't just take what you have been taught in history books and in school as a lot of what our schools teach is not the truth. The places and names and countries they go to, the people they talk to and even the ones who don't want to talk or are afraid too says something. If one will look up the places where they go and do their own research will find that there are still a lot who agreed with Hitler and would hide him. If one will look up Dignidad/ Villa Baviera Chile which it is known today even today there is a lot that is not right and what had/has went on there has been recent.

In Season 3 why do Bob & Neda, or whatever her name is, wear the same clothes on every episode? Why was the anonymous informant "accidentally" revealed sitting at the table when previously he was always pixelated? Hope he sues The History Channel. Why does Bob go see a retired FBI agent who can probably do nothing for him since he is retired? What led to the downfall of the 754 camps in Chile? Surely there must be people willing to talk about them other than the one gentleman who led the team to his internment camp on the coast.

I don't understand how people could classify this as a bad show. Thinking that one of the most famous leaders ever could have survived, is astonishing. While most believe Hitler died in 1945, there's little proof... all these outside organizations like the CIA have classified documents on Hitler and his closest allies. They have to be on to something. I don't believe that Hitler had 100 percent survived. On the contrary, I do believe that it was very plausible with all of his connections. I have to believe that it was more likely that he had survived, personally I can't see a deadly leader like him just giving up. Why would a man so wealthy and rich, just kill himself in his bunker while the rest of his high ranking officials flee? So to anyone who thinks this show is bad, rethink it and check it out again, because the evidence they have found...is never before seen and could lead to finding out that Hitler had survived. Overall, why wouldn't these people travel the world, looking for clues to Hitler's existence past 1945 if they have substantial proof. Organizations around the world and these investigators wouldn't go through all this trouble, if they're wasn't a real possibility of Hitler surviving.

The first part was interessting but at the moment i took Google maps beside it the lies came out and were an eyeopener!! The greatest mistake in my point of view is Season 2 episode 5 at the beginning. A view of a port named Cádiz! But is it no it is Gibraltar Avenue de espana! Next view very short but by holding the recording you see something special that is not in Cádiz! The rock of Gibraltar! Then the next views................Hotel Reina Cristina! In Cádiz? Nope in Taifa Algeciras directly oposite of the Rock! If you like the trueth don't watch this show!

This is what TV is supposed to be. Interesting and fun. Did Hitler die in the bunker? Who cares! I'm seeing exotic locations and watching modern day Sherlock Holmes types run around and dive under ice. (Tim Kennedy is crazy!)

One of the best Hitler doc series I've ever seen. I've watched many that never covered what this series does - and how could they? The investigators are following up on information only just declassified in 2014. All of the talent is top notch, well respected in their fields. The footage takes you to never before seen locations. Riveting and really well done. Watch this series!

I like the logic of the series. Since nobody can prove that Hitler died - ergo he lives. I think he is living in plain sight. I'm sure I just saw him in New York City - it was fleeting, but the damned subway was so crowded. Just because there aren't many 126yr old Nazi's doesn't mean he isn't out there alive and kicking! His birthday is coming up soon - we might find him at a beer hall party! I would not be surprised if he were hiding in München where the famous attempted Putsch occurred. Who would ever think of looking for him there? With his characteristic looks, he could easily pass for those street impersonators who try to get tourists to pose with them for a few Euro's.

What a great topic to explore & so we should. So many Nazis made it to South America including famous ones, why not Hitler too. Some excellent explorations in Series 1 & some of the places found raise serious questions about who was being helped in South America. But there are lots of assumptions & gung ho American talk that really is a turn off. How many times do we hear ' If I was Hitler, I would definitely have done that!' ? its just annoying. Do your own research. Certainly need to see dna analysis of who was burned at the bunker & I am sure this can be done. Very serious questions about collusion of Catholic Church to some degree, but more so all the fascist allies like Franco Spain & Peron Argentina. But why stop there? And this talking like the US is not implicated is bizarre. It suited the US to take Nazis to the US because they wanted their skills. In Chile it looks like Nazis were complicit in the Pinochet fascist coup of 1973 but its always been argued that the whole situation was engineered by US CIA as have other dictatorships throughout South America. So therefore these dictatorships protecting Nazis while also being in alliance with US CIA suppressing anything vaguely left wing. Anti Communist. Anti trade unions, human rights, conservative. That's been the US agenda to keep South America under control & supplying cheap labour, resources & high profits for US industry operating in Latin America. There's more to explore. If The CIA had wanted to take down Nazis they could have. And almost no contact or reference to Israel, Mossad or Simon Wiesenthal throughout all the seasons. Why not? They were doing more hunting for the first 50 years than any other group.

What these guys uncovered, if you can't understand the significance of the Nazi infrastructure they tracked down and put on screen that we never knew existed...you don't care about FACTS. You care about a childish mocking, and are driven entirely by your childish ego. Of course they didn't find a body...Bob stated that in like the first or second episode..."if this was a Hollywood movie, we'd dig up a bunker and find Hitler. But it's NOT a movie..." But what they DID find...is incredibly interesting to actually thinking, and not falsely ego-aggrandizing, people.

This is why there is 'hate' on this show...

The topic is very interesting and very plausible. The problem is that it could have been covered in half the time or less. Why rehash all the info you just told me when you return from commercial....ugh. And can it be any more sensationalized? Just cover the story. And the cast of characters think they are going for an academy award. Borderline annnoying.

Good background noise while possibly learning something. ;)

As I persisted with the interminable episodes of what turned out to be the first series of this tripe, I marvelled how the makers could possibly pad it out to 8 episodes. And when I finally got to the 8th episode, I looked up imdb, and found there were another two series of it!!

The show is little short of amazing. Mainly at the ability of the team of "investigators" and ex-navy seals (or whatever) led by ex-CIA man Bob Baer to come up with hypotheses out of dubious initial evidence, and arrange expensive trips for the teams to places across various continents, visiting Berlin, Argentina, Spain, the Canary Islands and so on. Wherever they end up they obtain side-scan sonar, ground-penetrating radar and other expensive equipment, and then somehow always manage to time their efforts to have them need to end prematurely - because it's "too late in the year" (with weather conditions deteriorating), or "too late in the day" (with light fading), or "they only have official permission" to be there one afternoon. And so on.

And then the attempt is just abandoned. (Just in time too! Before any real evidence is actually found to scotch whatever it is they're trying to find or prove in that particular sequence. And I am profoundly disturbed that any of these people could ever have worked for law enforcement, journalism or any intelligence services too.)

Yet each subsequent failure to prove anything much at all just adds to their ever-increasing conviction in each mini-hypothesis, and thus the grand theory of life, the universe and everything. To objective viewers absolutely no connection to credible evidence linking Hitler with any of these places is ever established. But to the makers and actors (you can only call them that) of this series, it's always incontrovertible proof and it just encourages them to go on.

Which apparently they do after this series, for another 16 episodes! (Without me, though. I couldn't "Baer" to watch any more of it!)

What will this show prove to the viewer? Nothing much about Hitler.

But you will gain a lot of insight into the psychology of how elements of the CIA and the Bush Administration could manage to psyche themselves into being convinced that Saddam Hussein was building an arsenal of WMDs before the Iraq War, and then to want to convince the public of this. Or real insight into just what a crock the so-called "History Channel" is!
