Un futuro muy presente

Too many sci fi movies are all gloom and doom, but here is one that is good for the whole family.

They took a sci fi movie and added humor to it while teaching something. I hope they make a sequel because they could conceivably pick up where this one left off.

This is a fun movie that took me away from the drudgery and responsibilities to give me a really great time. Kudos to Ed Begley, Jr. for a fine natural performance that avoided any reference to another movie that comes to mind.

The movie was obviously not financed heavily by Hollywood, but it overcame this obstacle by offering us a group of charismatic but very UN-Hollywood-type young actors that obviously had a lot of fun making this Fantasy Sci-Fi film. I would love to see all of these young people again.

The fantastic TOYS the young people found were fun to watch and enjoyable plus the technical results were MUCH more than acceptable. Some might think they need to belittle this movie because we have ALL been spoiled by Hollywood's ultra-high production values. I SAY - let's make MORE films like this. Let's NOT spend a ton of money only to be disappointed so many times. Let's experiment!~ THIS is what movies are ALL about! Thank you to the creators of this film - I hope there IS A SEQUEL!

Fun and charming kids movie dealing with a box full of futuristic toys that were brought using a time travel device. Each of these toys has a unique function. A pair of shoes that makes you move very very fast, a pair of gloves that gives you great strength, a ball cap that gives you knowledge, a gun that shoots all kinds of unique materials, a mask that gives you the face of whoever you see, and a ball that holds a holographic encyclopedia. A villain who is bent on controlling the world wants more future tech to alter the destiny of the country and eventually the world. Remember it's a kids movie, lots of kid oriented humor, scenarios and action as well as mild violence. Nothing questionable, no nudity or foul language, it's a fun watch with younger kids. But if you are judging this compared to more mature kids movies, don't. Just enjoy and have fun with your kids. Enjoy.
