Delaine Moore
- Guion
Delaine Moore is a former stay-at-home mom and wife turned author,
speaker, and Mars Venus Divorce Coach & NLP Therapist. Self-described
as 'an everyday woman with an edge', she has inspired hundreds of
thousands of people to reclaim their 'fire' post-divorce through her
blog, I Am Divorced Not Dead.com, and her memoir, The Secret Sex Life
of a Single Mom (Seal Press, 2012).
Delaine's memoir reveals what it's like for a divorced mom of young children to rediscover her sexuality and to enthusiastically push its boundaries. It's a spiritual journey led by her libido, one that allows her to reclaim her body and herself after a painful divorce and resolve her identity as both a mother and a sexual being.
Delaine has been published in a wide variety of prestigious publications, such as Aol.ca, Bell Media's The Loop, The Huffington Post, Your Tango and First Wives World. She has appeared on radio and TV shows across North America including CTV's The Social, Huffington Post Live, Calgary's Breakfast Show and Cosmo Radio. Her essay, "Less Than a Bump and a Grind," won the Readers' Choice Award in Novelette.com's essay competition on the topic of 'men.'
Delaine currently lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with her three kids, where she is also pursuing her Masters degree in Psychology Counselling part-time.
