The Extreme Job actor was found unresponsive inside a parked car on Monday (August 4) in a city near Seoul at around 8am local time, Variety reports.

Local authorities reported that an acquaintance found his body and there were “no signs of foul play and no suicide note was found.”

The tragic loss comes just a couple months after Song was involved in a DUI incident and was awaiting indictment. It has been reported that he drove for around three miles with a blood-alcohol level that was enough to have his South Korea driver’s license revoked. After the incident, he lost several jobs.

Song was best known for starring in the 2019 action-comedy Extreme Job as Chief Choi and he also appeared in Disney+’s Big Bet and Netflix’s Narco-Saints.
