Marquise Vilsón is a Bronx born, LA based actor & man of trans experience whose visibility in media spans more than two decades. A staple in Black trans history, Vilsón has been of service in grassroots organizing, HIV education/testing, fashion and now, acting is his advocacy & artistic medium of choice. Bringing Marquise's fearless representation, love of trans/gnc communities and creative energy into the world of storytelling. He made his New York stage debut Off-Broadway, cast as Beta in MCC Theatre's "Charm". A play about a Black Trans woman, Mama Gloria Allen, who teaches etiquette classes at a youth center on the south side of Chicago. Vilsón was first introduced to television audiences as a guest-star in the critically-acclaimed episode of Law & Order: SVU titled Service, addressing the issues faced by transgender military service members. His other TV credits include Tom Swift (series regular), A League Of Their Own (recurring), Quantum Leap, The Blacklist and Blindspot (recurring) and, his film credits include Ben is Back, Disclosure, The Kitchen & The Lost Holliday starring Vivica A. Fox.
