Back in the early Summer of 2012 the UK saw the release of the Crispian Mills and Chris Hopewell co-directed comedy 'A Fantastic Fear of Everything'. And we had no idea that the Us is still yet to enjoy the movie from first time writer/director Mills. But thanks to Cinedigm the project, which stars Simon Pegg ('Star Trek into Darkness'), has been set with a VOD release on 7 January and then will be followed by a limited theatrical run from 7 February. A Fantastic Fear of Everything' also stars Amara Karan, Clare Higgins, Sheridan Smith, Paul Freeman and Alan Drake....

More than a year and a half after Simon Pegg debuted the first trailer for A Fantastic Fear of Everything on his Twitter page, we have the second trailer for this upcoming comedy. The actor portrays a children's author who becomes paranoid while researching serial killers for his new novel, which turns his life upside down while a Hollywood executive expresses interest in his story. Writer-director Crispian Mills' comedy debuts on iTunes January 7, before its theatrical debut February 7.

Universal Pictures has released a new trailer for director Crispian Mills’ dark comedy A Fantastic Fear of Everything. Simon Pegg stars as a children’s author who tries to switch careers and write a gruesome Victorian murder mystery, but his wide range of phobias throws him into horrifying nightmares where he’s forced to confront his demons, which includes his love life, his laundromat, and a mysterious stop-motion animated hedgehog. The film continues to look like a wonderfully odd adventure, and it appears to be a nice starring vehicle that showcases Pegg’s impressive range. Hit the jump to watch the new trailer. Here's a new poster for Simon Pegg's new comedy A Fantastic Fear of Everything. The movie looks pretty funny, and as a fan of Pegg's work I'm looking forward to seeing it. Pegg looks like a crazy mess in the poster, he looks a lot like how I feel. The movie also stars Amara Karan, Clare Higgins, Sheridan Smith and Alan Drake.

A Fantastic Fear of Everything is the first effort from Pinewood Films' initiative to finance low-budget independent British films. They are off to a good start---at least in terms of the interests of this site---by kicking things off with a Simon Pegg vehicle. Pegg plays Jack, a children's author turned crime novelist obsessed with Victorian serial killers: "When Jack is thrown a life-line by his long-suffering agent and a mysterious Hollywood executive takes a sudden and inexplicable interest in his script, what should be his 'big break' rapidly turns into his 'big breakdown'." Tonight we have our first look at Pegg's wild-haired Jack, knife in tow. Alan Drake, Amara Karan, Clare Higgins, Sheridan Smith also star in A Fantastic Fear of Everything.
