Hyderabad, Dec 3 (Ians) The Tamil Thalaivas’ skipper Ajinkya Pawar led by example as his side produced a scintillating display to defeat the Telugu Titans by a scoreline of 52-24 in the Pro Kabaddi League (Pkl) Season 9 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium here on Saturday.
Ajinkya Pawar finished the game with 20 points of his own while Narender added 10 more to the cause, leading the Tamil Thalaivas to a massive win.
It was a cautious start with both the Telugu Titans and the Tamil Thalaivas going at each other, trading points in the early exchanges, not allowing either side to get a hold of proceedings.

Bengaluru, Oct 23 (Ians) U.P. Yoddhas beat the Tamil Thalaivas 41-24 in a match defined more by the brilliance of the Yoddhas’ defense unit at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium here on Sunday.
Raider Pardeep Narwal also chipped in with six points and with that became the first player to score to cross 1400 raid points in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League.
The game kicked off with the Thalaivas taking out U.P. Yoddhas’ two lead raiders, Pardeep Narwal and Surender Gill in their first two raids.
Within minutes though the Yoddhas had recomposed themselves and clawed back to take the lead. From there on, the Yoddhas truly kicked on and inflicted the first All Out of the match soon after to take a 10-5 lead.
Both team’s raiders matched each other step for step through the half, but the difference truly was the well-drilled and coordinated Yoddhas defence.

Bengaluru, Oct 11 (Ians) Haryana Steelers continued their winning run in vivo Pro Kabaddi League Season 9 as they picked up a big win, defeating Tamil Thalaivas 27-22 at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium here on Tuesday.
For the Steelers, raider Manjeet Dahiya starred once again, earning 8 points. All-rounder Nitin Rawal, too, continued his good run for Haryana Steelers, while Jaideep showcased his strong defensive work, earning a Super 5.
Manjeet began the match with a successful raid, opening the scoring for Steelers straightaway. But a minute later, he was caught by right corner Sagar as Tamil Thalaivas took the lead. A defensive error from Monu Hooda led to Tamil Thalaivas extending their lead, putting the Steelers on the backfoot.
