“American Horror Stories” has been renewed for Season 2 at FX on Hulu.

The series is a spinoff of the popular “American Horror Story” franchise created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The first season of the spinoff series debuted in July, with the seventh and final episode of the season set to drop on Aug. 19. Season 2 is expected to debut in 2022.

“American Horror Stories” is a weekly anthology series that tells a different horror story in each episode. The series has featured a number of cast members who have previously appeared on “American Horror Story,” including Matt Bomer, Dylan McDermott, John Carroll Lynch, Billie Lourd, and Cody Fern. Newcomers to the franchise in Season 1 include Danny Trejo, Kevin McHale, Amy Grabow, and more.

The series is executive produced by Murphy, Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, John J. Gray and Manny Coto. 20th Television produces.

FX has renewed Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Stories” for a second installment, FX Entertainment President Eric Schrier said Friday at FX’s second (of three) TCA (Television Critics Association) day. Season 2 of the anthology series will debut in 2022.

The “American Horror Story” spinoff debuted in July as the most-watched FX on Hulu series to date. That boast counts just four series, however, the others being “Devs,” “Mrs. America” and “A Teacher.” Still, first place is first place.

The Season 1 finale of “Stories” will premiere Thursday, Aug. 19. Meanwhile, “American Horror Story: Double Feature,” which is the 10th season of “AHS,” is set to premiere Aug. 25 at 10 p.m. on FX. Keeping the partnership alive, the show will be available to stream the following day on FX on Hulu.

After a fun and scary two-part premiere that took viewers back to “American Horror Story’s” “Murder House” from its first season, “American Horror Stories” went a different way for Episode 3, “Drive In.”

The action stayed in Los Angeles, kicking things off with a couple of teenagers fooling around while Bob Ross painted happy little trees in the background on TV. The boy, Chad (Rhenzy Feliz), thought they should be “normal” and have sex because they’ve been together for six months, while the girl, Kelly (Madison Bailey), was not ready. When Chad threw a previous relationship in her face, Kelly stormed off and he lamented he was going to die a virgin. Well, knowing this show… maybe!

American Horror Stories will take viewers back to a familiar American Horror Story location.

In a bonkers first-look trailer, we get to see a new crop of characters in the iconic murder house introduced on American Horror Story Season 1.

The house was also featured on American Horror Story Season 8, and when we last left it, it was still filled with countless spirits from the past.

There's no sign of any familiar characters in the house setting, but FX typically keeps plot points under secret until transmission, so there may well be some big faces.

There is the confirmation of the return of the Rubber Suit, which terrorized people on countless occasions throughout the run of the show.

What will it get up to?

We also get a glimpse of the Infantata, which looks poised to be making a return in some capacity during the special season.

Newcomers for American Horror...

It's arriving soon. American Horror Stories, the spin off anthology series based on the original anthology series, is almost upon us with the first two episodes set to arrive on Hulu on July 15, and we now have a better idea of which American Horror Story alums will be joining the newcomers to the franchise. Series regulars Billie Lourd, John Carroll Lynch, Matt Bomer, Naomi Grossman, and Charles Melton will return, as well as AHS stalwart Sarah Paulson on board as director of one of the episodes. Although it is not confirmed whether she will appear in front of camera. There were a couple of names that appeared in the new trailer released today that raised a few eyebrows and certainly caught the imagination.

FX released the first trailer for Ryan Murphy’s new episodic horror anthology “American Horror Stories” on Thursday.

Per the official description for the show, “American Horror Stories” is a weekly anthology series that will feature a different horror story each episode. The trailer showcases a few of the first season’s scares, including an axe-wielding Santa, a murderous Kaia Gerber and Tipper Gore, as well as the return of the gimp suit from the first installment of the flagship “AHS” series.

Ryan Murphy has revealed 21 cast members for his upcoming “American Horror Story” spinoff series, “American Horror Stories,” and there are some big names here — and some wild characters they’re portraying.
