Avengers: Endgame Theory Says Cap Became Mister Rogers After Traveling Back In Time
A strange Avengers: Endgame theory has surfaced online that gives Captain America’s journey into the past a whole new path.

At the end of the three-hour galactic epic, Steve Rogers went back in time to return the Infinity Stones back to their original places, as to not permanently damage the space-time continuum. We quickly came to find out that he not only completed his mission, but opted to stay in the past to live out his life with his beloved Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell).

This sweet conclusion finally saw Cap rewarded for his service, but this new fan theory, courtesy of Reddit suggests that Captain America’s heroics may not have ended after he hung up the shield. They just took a different form.

Maybe it’s because of the slight physical resemblance of the older actor Patrick Gorman, but it’s been hypothesized that when Steve Rogers traveled back to the past,...

Chris Evans’ Old Man Cap Body Double In Avengers: Endgame Revealed
Before Avengers: Endgame hit theaters late last month, Patrick Gorman’s most famous roles came from supporting parts in Gettysburg, Teen Wolf, and Sleepy Hollow. Though his name may not come up as much in conversations about the new films as the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth or Scarlett Johansson, his appearance is among the most controversial of the mega blockbuster.

Gorman pops up in Endgame right after Steve Rogers goes back in time to place the Infinity Stones exactly where they were taken.

Once the Cap doesn’t return when he’s supposed to, Bucky and Falcon start to get worried. But then they see an old man (Gorman) sitting by a lake close-by. It turns out to be Rogers, who says he decided to stay behind and live a happy life with Peggy Carter; then giving Falcon his iconic shield, he seemingly inaugurates a new Captain America.

‘Gehenna: Where Death Lives’ Review
Stars: Doug Jones, Lance Henriksen, Patrick Gorman, Simon Phillips, Sean Sprawling, Daniel Joo, Eva Swan, Katherine Taylor, Justin Gordon, Matthew Edward Hegstrom, Mauricio Gomez Amoretti | Written by Hiroshi Katagiri, Nathan Long, Brad Palmer | Directed by Hiroshi Katagiri

I have to admit that what drew me most to Gehenna: Where Death Lives was the appearance of Doug Jones (most recently seen in the Oscar winner The Shape Of Water) in the movie. I suspected it might be just a cameo but it was enough to at least get me interested.

We start with a group of investors head up by Lance Henriksen, in a short cameo via phone call, who are looking for the perfect spot for a new resort. When they seemingly find this, they also find a hidden Japanese bunker from World War 2, which they decide to explore. This is a horror movie, so obviously exploring an abandoned war...

Full Trailer for Extra Creepy Bunker Horror 'Gehenna' with Doug Jones
"How far does this go?" Uncork'd Entertainment has released the first official trailer for a super creepy horror thriller titled Gehenna, or Gehenna: Where Death Lives in full, from Japanese director and SFX veteran Hiroshi Katagiri. This film is about a group of white tourists who travel to Saipan in the Mariana Islands, and go into a WWII bunker they think is the perfect place for a resort. Once inside, they discover there's much more to the bunker - including a very pasty old slender man, as well as the horror trope of "they must face their most private secrets." Gehenna stars Lance Henriksen, Patrick Gorman, Simon Phillips, Sean Sprawling, Eva Swan, Justin Gordon, and Katherine Wallace. Plus Doug Jones as the "Creepy Old Man" (literally what his character is listed as). I wish this looked better, but it looks so bad. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster art) for Hiroshi Katagiri's Gehenna,...

Youthful Redford Immersed in Dirty World of Politics on TCM Tonight
Young Robert Redford and politics: 'The Candidate' and 'All the President's Men' (photo: Robert Redford as Bob Woodward in 'All the President's Men') A young Robert Redford can be seen The Candidate, All the President's Men, Three Days of the Condor, and Downhill Racer as Turner Classic Movies' Redford series comes to a close this evening. The world of politics is the focus of the first three films, each one of them well-regarded box-office hits. The last title, which shows that politics is part of life no matter what, is set in the world of competitive sports. 'The Candidate' In the Michael Ritichie-directed The Candidate (1972), Robert Redford plays idealistic liberal Democrat Bob McKay, who, with no chance of winning, is convinced to run against the Republican incumbent in a fight for a California seat in Congress. See, McKay is too handsome. Too young. Too liberal.
