15 Best Matthew Lillard Movies & TV Shows, Ranked
Image
Matthew Lillard is a well-known name in Hollywood, despite the actor receiving very few leading roles throughout his career. Still, Lillard has a dedicated fanbase that adores him thanks to his most iconic and entertaining roles. He's appreciated for his natural ability to make the audience laugh, which has defined his career in comedy.

Lillard is known for several memorable performances, but few are quite as popular as his rendition of Shaggy Rogers in Scooby-Doo (2002) and his performance as a villainous slasher in Scream. Even in horror roles, he is known for being comical, solidifying his reputation as a comedy actor. However, Lillard has notably serious roles, such as his character portrayal in TV shows like Good Girls and Twin Peaks: The Return. As Lillard plans to return to the Scream franchise for Scream 7 in February 2026, now is a good time to review his best roles.

Every Season of Bosch, Ranked
Image
Bosch is a police procedural drama based on the Michael Connelly book series featuring the titular detective Harry Bosch. The series ran for seven seasons before it ended in 2021. However, thanks to the popularity of the show, Bosch returned only a year later with the sequel series Bosch: Legacy. Bosch: Legacy continues with the story of Bosch but also features characters like Honey Chandler and Maddie Bosch in main roles.

Most of the storylines from Bosch: Legacy began in the original Bosch series. Each season of Bosch deals with a different main criminal case that Harry Bosch must investigate, but there are other plot lines that continue through multiple seasons. And while every season of Bosch is captivating and intriguing, some seasons stand out from the others thanks to the compelling characters introduced, the intriguing cases, or the overall impact the season had on the series.

Doug Bradley in Hellraiser: Los que traen el infierno (1987)
'Hellraiser' Reboot Story Details Revealed by Clive Barker
Doug Bradley in Hellraiser: Los que traen el infierno (1987)
Just over one year ago, legendary horror filmmaker Clive Barker revealed that he has come aboard to write the Dimension Films reboot for what was his directorial debut, the 1987 horror classic Hellraiser. We haven't heard anything about the project since then, but Clive Barker recently offered an update in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, where he shed new insight into the Hellraiser plot.

"I think the phrase is 'reboot,' although I've never really understood what that meant. I wanted to make sure we sounded some fresh notes. The movie actually begins on Devil's Island. I wanted to fold into the Hellraiser narrative something about the guy-the Frenchman Lemarchand-who made the mysterious box, which raises Pinhead. I figured, 'Well, what would have happened to him?' He might well have been taken to Devil's Island and I thought that would be a pretty cool place to start the movie.

Doug Bradley in Hellraiser: Los que traen el infierno (1987)
Hellraiser TV Series Coming Soon
Doug Bradley in Hellraiser: Los que traen el infierno (1987)
Sonar Entertainment is planning on bring their classic horror franchise Hellraiser to the small screen. Stewart Till was given the reigns of the company after Rhi entertainment was re-branded as Sonar Entertainment.

The new CEO had this to say about developing the series for the studio:

"I've spent more time in film than in television, and I see that a lot of values of film, which are great writers, great directors, are becoming more and more relevant in television. The gap between an O.K. show and a great show is getting bigger and bigger and our obsession going forward will be to find high quality shows that people really want. If you look at our slate, you'll see shows that have either a great brand name like King Tut or Hellraiser that arrive with a recognition, a build-in marketing platform and/or a great writer like 'Mph' with Steven E. de Souza.

Doug Bradley in Hellraiser: Los que traen el infierno (1987)
Hellraiser Remake Won't Be Retelling Clive Barker's Story
Doug Bradley in Hellraiser: Los que traen el infierno (1987)
During the rounds at today's Drive Angry press junket, Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer, the men in charge of the upcoming Hellraiser Remake, offered new details about plotline of the upcoming movie. Lussier outlined the difference between certain horror remakes, and stated that they will not be retelling Clive Barker's story.

"I think the biggest thing is, and we talked about this a lot recently, is that we have no intention of remaking Clive's movie. Clive's movie is obviously not like remaking My Bloody Valentine, or Happy Birthday to Me, or Terror Train or Prom Night - those are all very specific movies at a specific time with a specific purpose. As fun as they are, and that's not to take away from them, they were clearly business ventures. Hellraiser, obviously, was not. It was a personal story for Clive and Clive is a true artist. It didn't feel...
