Webber is the founder and director of C.A.R.T. (California Artists Radio Theatre). For more than 30 years, C.A.R.T. has presented dramas, comedies and musicals, featuring renowned actors from Hollywood, Broadway, Great Britain and Ireland, performing award-winning scripts adapted from modern and classic stories, books and plays. She gave performances herself, including her portrayal of Jim Hawkins in an audio version of Treasure Island.

Webber, in an interview, discussed the life of Jack Webb and her working on Dragnet (1951) while she was going through a messy divorce from her first husband. Webb was a huge help to Peggy in handling her divorce with financial and personal advice.

The first Colgate Comedy Hour on film was directed and written by Webber when she was about 22 years old. Rosemary DeCamp, Dick Foran and Hans Conreid played the leads.

For Don Lee Mutual TV, Webber created "Oh Miss Tubbs" with Verna Felton, Arthur Q. Bryan, John Brown, Walter Tetley and Jane Morgan. CBS took an option but then created "Our Miss Brooks" with many of the same characters.

Talks about her starring role in the horror movie "The Screaming Skull" (1958) in the book "A Sci-Fi Swarm and Horror Horde" (McFarland, 2010) by Tom Weaver.

For the Encyclopedia Britannica she and Jack Aranson played the leads in a feature based on John Millington Synge's "Well of the Saints.".
