Good episode with several rescues both large and small and legal trouble over one case. But I think the number of subplots covered (too many) left the episode without enough time for its usual charm.
While not lacking in characterization and emotional depth, we kept coming back to one subplot that was rather somber.
Maybe that's the mood the director was aiming for, but it worked against the humorous moments that usually give Emergency! Its charm. And it did have its humor, we just don't get much time to appreciate it while watching.

I've only seen maybe 3 or 4 movies from India (Bollywood). But I hope to see more because I've really enjoyed them, including this one. Definitely 8 stars from me.
I think this version of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility was beautifully updated and adapted. I love to read (I mean LOVE to read), but I try not to evaluate a movie's worth based on the book. They simply aren't the same medium and where a movie requires many people to bring it to life, a book only requires two people: yourself and the author.
That's not to say that I think all screenplays are equal to or improve on a storyline. But I consider the movie as a story that is never going to include my own imagination in its interpretation.
What I loved about this movie:
I always enjoy a little humor is a story that has drama and heartache. It's more realistic and is a good way to balance one's emotions while watching a film.

What I loved about this movie:
- I think the actors did a fantastic job portraying their characters. Mammooty was great and I'll look for more movies with him. Same for Tabu.
- The screenplay was cleverly adapted to a modern audience.
- The Bollywood treatment, with sing and dance, is always fascinating. There were some catchy tunes and beautiful imagery.
- i think the cinematography was very well done; scenes were appropriately atmospheric in location, mood, and lighting.
