My biggest issue is that right there..... this movie wasn't even filmed in the same state.... much less actually in Tulsa.... my dumb self was watching it looking for anything familiar at all.... As someone who has sent more than half my life in Tulsa and worked delivery all over for decades there I know it pretty well. By the end of the movie I had to get on Google and look into it because nothing in the movie looked anything like anywhere around Tulsa! ... Come to find out, it was filmed in New Jersey... so yeah... that already sank it for me. Add in the mediocre storyline, they obviously didn't do their research on the Tulsa Massacre at all. On top of that, we are supposed to believe that those 2 people are seriously connected via FaceTime basically 24/7??... Yeeeeah, no. I am not even going to go into the choices these people made or how disrespectful they were of property that wasn't theirs. The acting wasn't the worst I have seen, but that is about all I can say about this movie... I definitely won't be bothered to ever watch it again.

Anyone that knows me, knows I am completely obsessed with unicorns. Not the cutesy, kiddy, cartoony types, but the beautiful, graceful types as well as the darker types. Aside from Legend, and The Last Unicorn there hasn't been much of anything made movie wise to do with them. At least as part of the focus and not just another creature cameo in a movie. I also happen to love horror, dark comedy and satire. So, needless to say, this movie was right up my alley! I really liked it and will be buying it when it comes out to add to my unicorn collection. I also want to give props for just stepping outside the box and coming up with something different. I love how the unicorns change throughout the movie! The story itself isn't new, rich, entitled, shallow, greedy people wanting everything and not caring what they destroy in the process. But ehh, they all got what they deserved of course. Overall a fun watch that I look forward to watching again at some point!

I remember loving this movie as a kid, and of course always asking my parents, "Why didn't they just make another golden plate? They are the king and queen, they have to have gold." .... As an adult, I still think that lol.... But I guess that may be part of the moral of the story or something, who knows.... But I prefer the Grimm's version to the older one where she is basically raped while asleep and has twins but never wakes up.... I dug too far on that one and wish I had stopped with the Grimm's version.... But anyways, the acting is not great, out of these Cannon series fairy tale movies I think Rumpelstiltskin is my favorite, although it has plenty of its own issues. As a kid you don't realize how shallow fairy tales really are... That said, it was fun watching this once for old times sake.... I doubt I will be watching it ever again though after seeing it through adult eyes, maybe I am just jaded as an adult... But it is what it is.
