Love the movie. One of the best movies I have seen. Excellent story and good screenplay to go with it. However, need to be patient to follow the story line effectively through. Not a simple straightforward story which we usually see in movies. Good family crime drama. It is a thriller reaching the climax at the end. Like the ending too. The starting and the ending of the story blend together very well. In fact all the actors and actresses portrayed their parts very well indeed. The story is adapted from a French novel and movie. Clive Owen did a very good job as the other brother. Good choice of 60s music back ground. If you like simple straightforward action movie, then this is definitely not your type. Watch it patiently and you will love the movie!

Good action story. The filming is rather amateurish giving the viewer a headache watching the movie with so much camera shakes and sways which was done on purpose for unnecessary effects. This is aggravated by scenes switching back & forth. Luckily we have the main character's beard to help out. (The main actor with full beard means the scene is from the past, If it shows the man just with mustache then it is at the present!). Otherwise this is not a bad movie. The acting is quite good and full of fast moving action. The movie is all about killing and showed how it can be done horribly. It should be classified as adults only. It can also be classified as a horror movie.

This is a well acted movie with an interesting unusual story. Russell Crowe did a good job acting as a very resourceful husband in the movie. However, I enjoyed watching it until it reached the part when his selfish suicidal wife nearly caused him everything by trying to jump out of the car. Very annoying part of the movie played by Elizabeth Banks. If she wanted to commit suicide again she should do it without involving her husband after all his efforts to save her. My rating of the movie drops from top rating to rather low after seeing this part of the movie! I believed the French version did not include this irritating part which really insult the intelligence of the audience. I still recommend this movies to those who like action thriller but just ignore that particular part of the movie.
