Where do I even start with this show? Just know that what you've heard about it is true. Does it get messy? Petty? Toxic even? Yes, yes, and yes. And it's all the better because of it because I honestly feel like this is probably the most realistically plotted BL to date.

All the characters feel so real, and whether you like them or hate them, whether you can personally relate to them or not, they feel like real people. This is the type of show I feel like all queer people of a certain age should watch, regardless of your native tongue or background, because it's such an honest portrayal of our lives.

And the very best part of the show to me is actually the absolutely incredible performances that all the main actors are giving, as they play against type in complex, challenging roles. My personal favorites were First and Khaotung, who were an absolute joy to watch, especially in their shared scenes. Everyone brought their A game though.

I've said enough though, I obviously highly recommend this show <3 haha.

A bit of a hidden gem here, I ended up enjoying this movie more than I expected. It ends in such a sad way but the development of their relationship is filled with humor and treated with respect. I'd definitely rewatch this one.

I was looking for something to watch on Netflix, stumbled across this on the front page, and preceded to binge the show in a day. It entertained me well enough, but very quickly the main character in particular, Billie, became very unsympathetic.

I agree with most of the low reviews I've seen here, about horrible, immature choices made by really all of the adult characters (especially Billie), so I won't go into detail about that. But it's a shame because this show could've been a more thoughtful commentary on the balance between stability and passion in a long-term relationship, but instead it quickly devolved into some shoddy idea of what all adults in committed relationships allegedly YEARN to do to chase a rush (despite the fact that no one forced them to settle down in the first place).

The lack of communication on Billie's part, and her stalker-level obsession with her ex-cum-stalker Brad was the last straw for me. Hopefully if this gets a next season, it involves a divorce for the two main characters!

PS the only character that didn't annoy me was the little boy who played Hudson, who was absolutely adorable.
