It rarely happens that I agree with the top-rated reviews on IMDB, but this documentary is so captivating and heartbreaking, and well done, that I can't disagree with anything that has been said.

But I can add something: What Chris Watts did is horrific, a mystery. On the other hand, I can see his state of mind, which made the unthinkable become reality. Everything fitted perfectly together for that horror scenario to become real. 1. Watts is a narcissist, 2. An ego-focused person, 3. With psychopathic tendencies. 4. And he has a limited IQ. He lived a textbook version of a family father. But then, everything turned upside down. He fell in love with another woman. He was as blind as falling in love can make a person blind. It is one of the strongest emotional states a person can have. He felt like living in heaven when Shannen was away for a couple of weeks. And when she returned, he didn't want to lose the feeling of being in heaven. And he made his family responsible for losing the feeling. So he saw only one solution to that problem. Which is unthinkable for a sane person, a normal person. The most heartbreaking documentary I have ever seen. I still can't get over it of what he did.
