Love me haiti is a love story/drama set in Haiti the film starts with a transcript I believe to be taken from the local radio station of a man describing the turbulent times and suffering of the people. I am unclear of the meaning but by following the video as the broadcast is made I understand the problem is war inflicted over the past 50 years, we are then presented with the information that the speaker has now been assassinated and the start of the film commences now knowing the plot.

A very dominant feature is the background music throughout the film it builds tension and increases seriousness from start to finish and helps make the film have a lot of depth.

I don't want to give away to much about the story line, however the main characters. Marie Forstner played by Aurelia Khazan provides a realistic performance demonstrating a good acting ability. I also enjoyed the directors overall vision for the film this is often difficult with low budget productions but I feel overall it came together well and I can see larger productions in drama or possible crime thrillers in his future.

Sometimes a documentary can loose it's focus and I think the reason why this happens is because the people making the documentary are not interested in the person or the subject but "nothing to something" is the opposite and this demonstrates how to make a documentary people want to watch.

The subject is the professional fashion photographer Keith Major documenting his day to day life of organising and consent prepping to enable him to work. I feel the film captures his work environment very well and gives a good insight into the behind the scenes of the fashion world it's a much watch film for anyone wanting to pursue this as a possible career.

There are learning lessons and solid advise from Keith Major that could be applied to anyone hoping to create any career including a dedication to your passion by not loosing focus on what you want to become, he points out that he never took any job that didn't have a photography link just to pay the bills, it brave but the moral of the story is you have nothing to loose!

I enjoyed this short film and look forward to the directors next project.

Crime movies about bank robbery's are probably one of my favourite to watch so when I watched the trailer for Ready 2 Die I put it on my to watch list and got a copy the following weekend.

Right from the start I found the action scenes to be exciting a gang of misfits in the process of a bank robbery that goes wrong as a viewer you are put straight into the action but at the same time we start to understand the background of the characters and how this situation evolved.

I can't say to much about what happens next as I don't want to spoil the plot for anyone but you won't be disappointed it has guns, fast cars, police chases, sexy women, money and murder to keep you entertained.

For a low budget film it's put together very well, the actors gave a credible, convincing performance I especially enjoyed Bless May's performance and think he has a good chance of furthering his career if he keeps making decent films. But the biggest credit has to be to the director and writer John Azpilicueta putting together this movie must have been a challenge and he pulled it off I hope he is given some bigger projects in the future and I look forward to watching his next piece of work.
