"In a world built on power, nothing is accidental." Made in Korea keeps viewers on their toes with the non-linear progression and the flashbacks. It sets up this lax, lazy world where the rich and powerful are corrupt, and even when they have to worry about the safety of others, there is some agenda attached.

The storytelling is brittle, but there is still enjoyment to be had from this story of a mother and child and rescue from a catastrophic flood in Seoul. It all begins very quickly, as a catastrophic flood is currently sweeping across the world. One woman, An-na (Kim Da-mi) has been targeted as a key person who must be saved. Kim Da-mi serves as the emotional anchor with a force that holds scenes together when the narrative starts pulling in too many directions.

The execution could have been stronger if it were a little shorter.🌊

The Price of Confession absolutely succeeds at getting under the skin. With Jeon Do-yeun and Kim Go-eun at the helm of characters that are equally memorable in their own right, it is impossible to look away. With its many twists and turns, it's anyone's guess what is truth and what is fiction until the final reveal drops, making The Price of Confession a must-binge viewing experience.
