I think in better hands this could have been amazing, especially given the strength of some of the actors..others seem to be in another movie altogether!

Joyously enjoyable whimsical series well worth a watch. I recommend this to anyone who likes left field British TV at its best. No spoilers here just find it and watch it you will be entertained...and that's the point isn't it.
As an introduction to the marvelous Mr Rose played by William Mervyn this is s must watch. Some dark storylines especially E1. I would happily recommend with the usual caveat..it is of its time do bear that in mind. Some dodgy sets wooden acting in part and not great quality playback. But I enjoyed it and I love Mr Rose.
