This movie reminds me of the film '15 Minutes', which came out 20 years ago. It shows how the media can destroy a person and how society can pass a death sentence on someone.
In fact, what's more important than the message of the movie is how much I could enjoy the watching. Although the subject is heavy, this film keeps me curious about what will happen next, making me want to keep watching. That's the most important thing about a good movie. A movie should create a desire to watch by keeping the audience curious. That is more important than the message. It was also a pleasure to watch the performances of the reliable Sam Rockwell and Kathy Bates.
In S. Korea, some bad journalists who try to ruin a specific person based on uncertain grounds are called "Ki-re-ki," which translates to "journalists who don't care about the truth" or a.k.a "A killer with a pen."
