People still talk about this show many years later. It's a great watch with interesting lore behind how the nanites infect the world Rex lives in. From the makers of Ben 10, hit franchise, this show stayed in the other's shadow but is a hidden gem like every review mentions. Excellent voice cast, cool animation sequences, and iconic main character. They should seriously continue on with Gen Rex content! It gives you vibes similar to Transformers and has the shapeshifting charm like Ben 10, but Rex is more cyborg than anything else. He's a hero as great as the villains they give him, like Van Kleiss. I genuinely return to this series and rewatch every episode for the nostalgia. We haven't seen anything new from this world besides a short babyfied crossover with the reboot Ben 10 continuity, and unfortunately they get compared to each other so much. Separate projects by the same writing geniuses, I think Gen Rex has enough to stand out on his own. Give this cartoon a try and you'll be wanting more by the end of it as well. Daryl Sabara, the boy from Spy Kids stunned me with this role as Rex Salazar.
