That I can't believe I'm even giving it 2/10. If the goal was to make a movie that was dull, boring, tedious and depressing, it was achieved. Thank God its only 80 minutes. Anymore and I may have knifed myself..hahaha. If you have nothing better to do and need something to put you to sleep late at night, place this in the DVD player and nod off. The dream sequence is a highlight in creative stupidity. Whats that on the father's head but a crown of burning candles??...you have to be kidding me......BOO! What a waste of time...whomever wrote the "One of the best film's I've ever seen" on the cover was either paid by the director or has been living in a cave for the last 20 years.

First, I love the majority of Toho films. All the silly Godzilla flicks from the 70's and so on, but this film is taking it to a new level. Granted, I'll give it a 5 out of 10, but whats the deal with Mothra and all the powers it now has?....AquaMothra?...give me a break. Both creatures had too many different weapons that weren't explained nor seemed to be a dominant in battle. The effects were good, better than most films of this type, but I would have liked to see more land-based battles, because a moth in water doesn't cut it for me. Dagahra was a unique and interesting creature, so hopefully he'll appear again. After seeing the "Rebirth of Mothra", this was kind of a letdown and a little boring at the end. Hopefully Rebirth 3 is better.

An instant cult classic.....everything from sex, blood, a perverted priest and a nun that isn't what she appears to be! Gotta love that Cherry Pie.....yummy! Just wished the director would have shown all the girls getting spanked. And why do we get treated to seeing Cherry and Eddie in bed and not Cherry and Larissa? Mary Woronov is an under appreciated talent. The inspector had some classic lines when the girl playing Larissa walks into his office. The only criticism would be why were the girls still wearing their panties before they were sacrificed? If they had been completely nude, I'd have scored it 8/10...oh well. It looks like there could be a potential sequel near the end.....we can only hope.
