It's never gonna win any awards but this was a really good fun, action filled violent movie. Dave Bautista plays, well, Dave Bautista joined by his Guardians Of The Galaxy Co-Star Pom Klementieff as a group of Assassins out to kill Joe Flood (Bautista) . Sofia Boutella plays Flood's love interest and there is a great supporting cast including the always reliable Scott Adkins (unrecognisable!) and Ben Kingsley. This movie has lots of action and some laugh out loud moments, especially the Scottish Brothers, the "Ali-G stylee" Driver , Terry Crews as Lovedahl , The Party Girls , in fact the entire cast of characters were memorable in some way!

Definitely good popcorn totally predictable but fun entertainment !

OMG when I saw the 2 headline stars, I thought this should at least be watchable. I don't think i've seen a bad movie that either have been in. Jeez was I disappointed. Where do we begin? The terrible plot with more holes that you can shake a stick at, terrible script, story that made no sense and terrible acting. Literally felt like an amateur 1st time director effort. The only redeeming factor was the fit "Assassin" Willa Fitzgerald, she reminded me a bit of the assassin in the FAR superior Luc Besson produced titular character "Anna" (Excellent movie) The Jeeps in the movie are also quite cool. I guess that both Scott and Sylvester needed the cash but surely not so bad to ruin their reputations on? Hope they are not going down the Bruce Willis/Nic Cage road of cash grab low budget low quality movies.

I went into this thinking it would be a bit better than The Acolyte and after a very good 5 minute start discovered it really is just for Kids with nothing much at all to do with Star Wars apart from the backdrop. Literally could be named just Skeleton Crew without any reference to Star Wars and Star Wars fans would be less disappointed as yet another Cash Grab on the Star Wars name. There is nothing at all in the story so far (up to Episode 5 atm) that references anything to do with Star Wars lore . It would have been better to call it "Pirates of the Caribbean Indiana Jones in Space " Marvellous for kids but for adults who grew up with Star Wars, not so much.
