I think this is the first thing I have seen Zac Efron in, and boy did he impress. A much better actor than I thought. I will not pretend to know the historical accuracy of this film compared to what was actually real and true in the Von Erich lives. But everyone did a phenomenal job! Are there things to nit pick? Sure but what movie doesn't. Without getting into the tiny details like the actors were not as tall as the real brothers is completely unimportant and irrelevant. The wig that the actor playing Rock Flair wore? Just plain bad, but it doesn't impact the movie in any way.

Watch it and enjoy. It even made me tear up at times.

Typical of hollyweird. Decide to remake a modern classic, and go over the top with more...more.....instead of sticking with what worked in the original. A simple plot line that was easy to follow, entertaining, and enjoyable to watch. I guess due to peoples shorter attentions spans they decided to throw a lot at you at once so you can pick and choose what to concentrate on. I especially like the sickly pale Olson twins as the emperors. As for the movie in general. If you're into movies that require no thought, and enjoy violence then you'll like this movie. Its basically a Sylvester Stallone movie without Stallone.

No the movie is not perfect. Yes some will not find the movie enjoyable. People faith is devisive in today's world where some will yell "Dont force your beliefs on me..." While others will see it as propaganda. And still others will see it for what it is. A message about how evil turns people away from God. Freedom of choice is a great thing, but being open minded is just as important. I pray this movie gives non believers something to think about. Anything that can help bring all people together for a common good is beneficial. Whether you believe or not. Give the movie a chance. It could change your life.
