Copy and paste, Gladiator 1. Change characters to 20 + years older. Take away any decent story plots and character building. And add in sharks into a collosium that can be transported from miles away on land with no explanation. That's basically it. However like the film I have to fill this review with extra and needless content. This is a sequel film that had absolutely no need to be made. There is zero tension and the characters get very little back story. The two Emperors have no character arc either, no mention of who they really are and how they came into power, I dont even know thier names! This is a far cry from the original.

I honestly believe that I could make a better movie and I cant act and I haven't exactly got a big budget to deal with either. But for the 70 minutes I spent watching this film with my family we all had a laugh watching the bad acting, the absolute no sense writting. I can be forgiven for a film with a low budget and a unique name but this was awful. They did at least try and comparing this to some big budget Hollywood films this one at least had some character to it. At the end of the day I laughed my way through this movie and had a good time watching it, maybe I'm laughing at how bad it is rather then the film itself. But like I said I could do better.

The alien things are all good because they are eco friendly and somewhat cultured. The humans are all evil because they use fossil fuels etc. Stunningly boring and every scene is predictable. The alien things will win all the time every time, the humans are useless. What's the point? You know the ending before the film even starts. And what was that character Spider? What was his purpose? Didn't he speak as though he was from california even though he has never been to earth? This is not as bad as Disney star wars as the new "empire" was completely useless. That's why this review gets a 2. It's Christmas and at least the main character was a strong male lead.
