Did they make this utopia of the non human animal kingdom, even named Zootopia, where SNAKES are not allowed in? Like anywhere? Whats up with that??? Seriously - how could this happen in today's moder world, that not only is the movie and it's characters (of course) demonizing the innocent and absolutely necessary and absolutely 'good folk' snake - but to make maters worse, the snake is dissalowed within the 4 habitats of Zootopia? Perhaps I'm mistaken as, as I've stated I'm only partially thru (which is why I gave it a 5, middle of the road) and perhaps I'm missing something but... Am I?

Obviously (like me), these are Americans that are having such a negative reaction to Rowan's particular style of comedy ( notice I did not put comedy in quotes, lol) (because obviously it's legitimate comedy, and that's the point) but it IS comedy and it's also a sweet holiday message - look, I take your point but real talk, just turn it off if your not enjoying it? Right?

Sure, as the above review stated, "merv (does) steal your heart" OF COURSE HE DOES he's adorable but, and this is a big but - an animal co-star should be just that, a co-star and NOT merely a prop. However in the case of Merv, the doggo is simply that and it's very awkward - I don't know if Zoey is a cat person or what but it's like she's never touched a dog before and watching her attempt to act off of him is borderline cringe. Charlie isn't much better - so ya it's cute and yes I'd say it's worth a watch but just know this isn't a dog movie as much as a movie with a dog - I know I KNOW but....
