This is worth watching. The setting is great and Arch and Fitz are good characters that seem well anchored and with room to grow. The mysteries are on the cozy side, but without the main characters being ridiculous/camp, though there is a sense that things are going to get more serious.
I like that Arch is smart/capable - she holds her own and isn't dressed ridiculously. Fitz is a bit of a curious mix - in exile and aware of past decisions that were bad or questionable. He has an air of regret, but also an unwavering belief in his own instincts.
We are slowly getting to know more about the characters and I find myself wanting to know more about them. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

I love what Jon Stewart and his team are trying to do here. Outline really big, tough issues, meet some of the people directly impacted and also some people with power who need to use it to make change. Season with a dash of humour. It should work, right?!
Yet....somehow it doesn't quite seem to come together. The panels with the impacted parties seems a little too fast/glib and "show me your trauma" and the segments w/ the powerful people seem a little flat - maybe they need to get them all in a room to have a civil, but frank conversation? The segments with the writers are actually quite enjoyable.'
Will I keep watching? Yes, but i no longer wait for the next episode to drop.

Kristen Bell does a great job in this but the the series has a real identity crisis.
A few of the weird plot points are ridiculous enough to be funny, but there aren't enough of them to make it a comedy. On the other hand, they really undermine the story b/c they are so cheap and stupid.
This series really could have been sharp and clever, but ended up being a bit of a lazy punk. Only Kristen Bell's work makes it bearable.
