The first episode of this season was quite good. Eerie, mysterious, full of promises. Then, rapidly, everything went down. The plot began to look really silly. The characters were all unsympathetic. Even Miss Foster! How come?

Then there was not a thing to cling to. The story was an insult to intelligence. The actors looked more and more lost and bored in front of the camera.

This season is a wonderful example of what should never be done. Scriptwriters, take note. If you begin on a high note, don't let the viewers down. Directors, take note. If you film beautifully a t*rd, it will always look like a t*rd on the tv screen.

What a waste of time. What a shame.

Silly beyond silly. Nothing is believable from start to finish. Nobody trusts Beckett, even though she beats the worst NY criminals every week. She is sad one moment, and then she forgets everything. Nothing explains how the killer could put the victim's corpse up in the air. And the DA is nothing but a caricature. A constant mess. There will be some better episodes in the minths that followed, but this one was the beginning of the end. I understand what they mean by « suspension of disbelief. » But here, it's a case of « suspension of intelligence. » I fell insulted by the scriptwriter.

I can't understand how so many viewers liked this dumberie festival.

A really good old fashioned french comedy. Kad Merad is excellent as a cowardly safari guide. And all the members of the cast do a tremendous job. Yes, the script is sometimes silly and awkward, but you can feel that the comedians were having a good time on the set. Some gags are really good and nobody acts too seriously. The humor is not always very subtle, but the film is just an unpretious pretext for a good time.

This movie is criminaly underrated. It's good clean fun. Not a masterpiece, for sure, but not the dud some have said.
