This show is absurd. I liked it early on but the host David has just gotten so ridiculous. I get it, it's entertainment. Only problem is it's not entertaining. He dresses like he's 14yo and high. He may not be a realtor but it's still unprofessional. Final straw for me was when he wore these rubber house shoes. C'mon dude pull it together. You can be artistic and fun without looking like you've been smoking crack all week. And lose the fake enthusiasm. Nobody is buying it and it creates an uncomfortable energy. How is this show still on the air?!!? I guarantee you if HGTV replaced the host, viewership would go up.

Engaging story and great acting. The lead actress's dialect did not bother me as it did others but it was definitely noticeable. She did an incredible job though. Great acting by the lead actress and everyone else.

I'd read an article that while working on the script the writer worried about how people would find empathy or be on the side of someone.with an "unconventional personality." She was quirky for sure. I didn't find that distractive though. I did however find her abusive to the people trying to help her. I found it difficult to watch because she was quite simply not a likable person. That does not mean she deserved anything that happened to her or that she caused it in any way. It just means it's understandably challenging to tell her story. Others have pointed out that she would of course have anger. I agree. But that anger was directed at other people. People that cared about her and were trying to help. For me this made the series difficult to watch.

Not the best for sure but I've seen worse. I wasn't bothered by the main character Maria like everyone else. I liked her just fine. Koivu was by far the best character. I liked the will they won't they aspect of their relationship. But I also really liked the character that played Maria's partner. Season 1 was better imo but they both kept me entertained. I binged all 20 episodes over a long weekend. The last episode of season 2 ends very abruptly. It made absolutely no sense. Even if they expected a 3rd season it was an odd ending. That entire episode seemed poorly written. The criminal case they were working on seemed disjointed and it too ended oddly. If they do end up with another season I would definitely watch it.
