16-Dominican Republic

A female with Hermaphroditism living in a small town falls in love with a stringer without telling him about her condition ..troubles ensued when her best friend gets jealous of her and her boyfriend finds out her secret.

A surprisingly very mature movie from such a small nation with very mature emotions and good story telling i really enjoyed this one .. the editing was horrendous though making the movie hard to follow at times, and the ending felt rushed a little bit.

A decent pick from a different culture and about a "taboo" topic.

Life isn't always white or black, it's -and for the most part- just gray .. this movie tells the story of some gray days of the life of a housewife when her husband insist on having a third kid which she dosent want. I really enjoied this movie, it was a beatuiful surprise as CostaRica's neighbours really have set the bar very low (as i watched it as a part of my quest to watch a movie from every country in the world), it maybe lacked some pace in the 2nd act, but all in all it was a really beautiful movie. 7/10

We all know how tough the gang life is and we dont need to see dead people in every shot to believe that .. at least in my culture death have its respect and i couldnt tolerate watching dead people being filmed and handled in a disrespectful manner like that .. apart from this the movie was repetitive and messy
