That sounds fun. If u r cursed and followed, u can literally think of a thousand traps to play with the entity. The sky is the limit! When u get tired, pass the curse to someone else and then work together for another thousand ways to fool the entity. How lovely.

I don't know who the genius think of this original idea. Original? Yes. Horrible? Def not.

If they tryna make a sequel of it, please make it a horror comedy. I would 100% support it, with fun.

First things firsts, did they make the shark out of some kinda smartphone app? Coz, the sharks CGI looks like that. The sharks looks very low-budget, 2-D, layered out and plastic.

The plot has a smart core idea: a tsunami flooded supermarket and carpark. Cool, it is worthy of 2 marks.

But then all other things fall flat on the chin. Obsolete racism stereotypes. Certainly, as anyone can tell from the beta-men setup. The moment I saw the supermarket manager I knew it. Totally racism. That so-called multi-cultural society looks more like a salad pot (with separated ingredients) than a melt pot. If they made this movie after 2020s I'd 100% rate it 0/10. Absolute ZERO. Ever heard of woke mind? Wake up!!!!

Stupid dialogs. Stupid characters. Stupid mixed accents. Not many of them speak Aussie English, intriguing for an Aussie movie. Stupid love affairs. Stupid robbery plot. I wish the plot writers had seen an everyday supermarket in Australia before writing the story. Their heads are in the cloud???

Actually is it a drama+comedy or an action+horror+survival movie? It looks like a cheesy popcorn comedy which tryna make u roll your eyes for an hour or so.

I def not gonna recommend it to anyone. I suggest Aussies make serious shark survival movies and not a fusion type, like this Bait.

I enjoyed the show that 1 hour 46 minutes. Thats enough for a movie of fantasy. As someone who appreciates various knife arts n designs, I also enjoyed the central theme of knife fighting. Moreover i am more than happy to see Jessica Alba again, indeed. She always shines.

The plot is thin, and so are the characters, but it should be, as the movie is positioned as an action movie. A female special force who is skilful in knife fighting. Parker goes back to her home town and avenges her father's death. Bad guys, corrupted cops, heavy weapons, aren't they all too familiar? That why movie producers always need to set up a character who is not that common. And thus this time, a female knife fighter.

My 5 cents: don't think too much when watching an action movie. Feel it.
