Well well well. Initial review I liked it 8/10 it had it all in swathes what is expected and what has given Wes a fan base of people ho adore now 80% of his films.

His last two films French dispatch and asteroid something were absolutely 2/10 and 1/10 compared to this whereas everything before was a joy to watch with quirk style and wit and charm we all took for granted. I'm please no shwarzman and no bill Murray their magic in the last two films had simply worn off and Willem Defoe was kept to a bit part which kept it fresh. The newer fresher cast had chemistry like grand hotel and that was what missed the most in the two previous monstrosities I won't mention again. As a huge fan I'm so pleased to like this and recommend giving it a watch as he clearly like my tire says has began cooking again he's just not near his Michelin star work like grand, fox, Darjeeling, kingdom, royals, Steve, & Rushmore all elite. I didn't mention bottle rocket as this was Wes learning to cook basic levels before he became an artist of his work.

Watch it!! It's good.

What a show. The first two series's are 10/10 and a real credit to the storytelling and clever writing and character development that unfolds week by week. I was hooked after series one and two. The third series saw a sharp decline albeit clever and not seen coming it left a real impression and open doors to actually pull it back and make it good. After the fourth season I have just watched I don't know what to think anymore. It leaves such a stain on the whole show I cannot believe they're going for series 5. The last episode was so bad I actually kept thinking something will happen to will in back or a dream sequence was gonna happen as the ending was so bad and the unfolding of the so called killer (worked it out very early on) had no twist or real substance at all. In all was a cameo series that it never needed to be and a weak excuse of a series I'd never rewatch.

Gave a 9 to series one then thought it would never live up to the hype come the second series and my god (nondescript they/them/that) it didn't disappoint at all. The mum is the star of the show and is an incredible actress she must be in more programmes and comedy's soon. The dad son and daughter with disfunctional neighbours make it so funny and then once they entertain the freak show of the cult it's hilarious and just hope season three is already being written as I type. I don't review lightly but if you like a here we go vs white gold type show you have found it sprinkled with righteous gemstones and all very British and beautiful not a weak actor or actress in the whole show.
